Wow, has it been a month?? I had no idea time had just gone by that quickly.

I have added three pairs of cuff links to the shop. If only I wore cuff link shirts! I used vintage glass and acrylic cabochons.

Here's my favourite pair, Captured Rainbows! Vintage vitrail faceted dome glass jewels set on vintage brass crown settings. On silver plated cuff links.

Almost one.

The past few weeks have been busy busy busy. Looking back, I'm not even sure what I've been doing! I suppose mostly just brainstorming about my little jewelry business, looking about the bubs who turns one in just 4 days!, planning for his little party on Saturday, going to his first birthday party, surfing the web for pretty semi precious gemstones, and ... well, generally living life one day at a time.

One thing to be thankful for this week, is that my little boy was not with my husband and I as we drove back home last night. We got into a little car accident, where the car behind us hit us. I am fine, but my husband is suffering for pretty bad neck aches. I am so thankful Eli was not in the car, if he was, who knows if he could have gotten whip lash as well! That would be horrible for a baby.

On a lighter note, I have a few new items to put up in the shop, here is a peek at my favourite. :)


And here is my latest purchase- rough sparkly diamond chips! WOohoo! I cannot wait to make a necklace for myself out of these.
I also got this delicious sounding lippie. Sounds good enough to eat.

Jars of Heaven's babe turns 1!

In honor of the little bundle of joy that came into my life a year ago, Jars of Heaven is having a sale in her shop, to celebrate little Eli's birthday!

The Anniversary Dinner

Do you like my new header picture? That's the lovely bouquet of roses my husband gave me on our 5th wedding anniversary. :)
We had dinner at a lovely Mexican restaurant called Margarita's along Dempsey Road. Dempsey Rd, a couple of years back, got really popular as a wine-and-dine area, with a trove of lovely restaurants. I'd heard great things about Margarita's, so decided to try it out.

That's Dempsey Road after our dinner- Christmassy, isn't it? And a rarity in Singapore- free parking!

The bowl of pork ribs after dinner! I had shrimp fajitas- really yummy too!
Dessert was simply called "Pear Cake"- a sweet treat to end the night. Swimming in a lovely sweet white wine sauce. Too sweet for the hubs, but perfect for me!

Customisation

A couple of weeks ago, a really lovely customer requested a cameo necklace. She'd purchased one previously and really liked how versatile it was, perfect for work and play.

So I started with this cameo, set onto a vintage weighty gold- toned pendant. Then added AB czech glass beads, amethyst rounds and a single vintage brass locket. She loved it, so that's what matters most. :)
